The Role

Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for an After School and Holiday Club Team Leader to join the Ravelston site on a permanent basis from November 2024 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The hours of work will be part-time and will differ between term time and holidays. During term-time you will work Monday – Friday 1.30pm - 6.00pm, a paid working week of 22.5 hours. During holiday periods, you will work 26.25 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota basis to be agreed with the ePlus manager. The salary range is £17,879 to £19,459 per annum, which is point 21-24 on the e-Plus Practitioner (Qualified) salary. 

The purpose of the role is to lead the service provision daily with the Practitioner team, in consultation with the ASC/HC Deputy Manager at Ravelston. This will include such duties as overseeing daily operations of room teams, ensuring high-quality care for children, and leading a creative program of activities. It also includes supervising and mentoring Practitioners, maintaining a safe environment, and ensuring effective communication between staff.

The successful candidate must have experience of working with children hold either a Playwork or Early Years qualification or equivalent. It is also highly desirable for the candidate to have knowledge of Microsoft 365.
