The Role
Do you want to make a difference to students who need that extra support to engage them in learning? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We need someone who can work alongside students with additional needs, social and emotional as well as special needs, in order to build resilience and develop strategies to engage with learning.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibility of this role is to support the progress of students with special educational needs in consultation with teaching staff.
The Ideal Candidate

Is able to work on own initiative?
Is able to communicate at all levels?
Is competent with numeracy and literacy skills?
The core working hours are up to 37 hpw, 39 weeks a year (this is term time plus 5 staff training days)
If you join us in the Learning Support Department, there is an opportunity to develop specialism in specific learning needs or approaches to learning. We are looking for someone who wants to take the next step in their career and is happy to take on extra responsibilities such as Breakfast Club which begins at 8am and Homework Club which finishes at 4pm.
